Guest Reviews & Ratings
If you're looking for a quirky and unique stay in Rome, this hotel behind Piazza Navona is a perfect choice to experience the charm of 'older Rome'. The rooms, served breakfast on a tea-tray in-room, are nestled in a very old building once owned by the Vatican, offering a glimpse into Rome's rich history. While the location is fantastic, providing a true Roman Romance novel ambiance, the dining experience could have more variety.
I had a delightful stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a king-size bed and a sofa bed for the kids. The daily tidying up was a nice touch. The location is superb, being right in the heart of Rome, surrounded by fantastic restaurants, trattorias, and gelaterie. However, the dining options were limited with mostly sweet pastries served, which was below average.
My stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful! The rooms were truly amazing, with a red baroque style, dark woods, huge paintings, and heavy curtains creating a charming ambiance. The narrow corridors offered beautiful views of Rome, adding to the enchanting experience. The cost of around 70 Euros per night with breakfast and city tax included was a great value. The service was top-notch, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable.
